Dear Heather,
I enjoyed meeting you at the Out of the Darkness walk last October in Plano. You may remember my sister and me, we have Hawaii in common. Thank you for bringing the attention that you do to suicide prevention. Your courage to talk openly about suicide gives me courage to live with and talk openly about the loss of a close loved one in our lives. It gives me courage to say that it happened in my family, and let's do something about it. Let's raise awareness! We'll be at this year's walk in Plano; hope to see you there.
Kindest regards,
Jill |

Hi Heather,
I stumbled across your website this evening after watching you on the news. I don't believe it was by mistake either. My husband took his life in 2001. Today is a hard day for me as it marks what would have been our 15 year wedding anniversary. I still grieve today as you know the pain never goes away; but I thank God for bringing me where I am today.
You are truly a blessing to so many. I am so sorry for your loss and want to say thank you for having the courage to speak out and share your heart.
God bless you,
Kristina |

Heather I watch you on the news every night. But I never knew your story until I read what happened to you. I wanted to tell you that your site brought me to tears. My Dear Friend Kimberly Andress committed suicide several years ago. There is not a day that doesn't go by that I don't think of her. She was the Greatest Friend, and Mom in the world. Thanks for all you do, and your new baby is gorgeous, and Congrats on the upcoming Baby! |

Wow! I lose track of you for a bit and look what happens!
I tried to send an email to you at the only address I have for you but it came back undeliverable!
Looks like life is treating you well with the book, the work, the love life, and the baby!
Congratulations! |
